About the project

A seamless balance between privacy and panoramic views, House Pearl Valley was designed to embrace both sanctuary and spectacle.

“We wanted to celebrate courtyard living to the maximum. Everything evolved around the pool and peripheral activities, and it had to embrace the mountain and golf course views as much as possible.”
~ Chris Hattingh, Director Fluid Architects

At the heart of the home lies a protected courtyard—a private haven shielded from the prevailing winds, offering both seclusion and connection. Anchoring this space is a striking lap pool, its reflective surface not just a focal point but an experience. Floating steps glide over the water, transforming the entrance into a moment of arrival.

Inside, every space flows effortlessly, ensuring that life revolves around the courtyard. The kitchen, positioned with intent, maintains a visual link to the pool and living areas, fostering a natural sense of togetherness. Upstairs, the bedrooms frame the mountain and golf course views, grounding the home in its breathtaking setting.

Unpretentious yet undeniably refined, House Pearl Valley is a quiet expression of its owners’ lifestyle—where privacy and openness exist in perfect harmony.
